Meeting at 11am, we will then tour round the following site -
Thursday 18 September 2025- National Maritime Museum (meet at the admission desk by the Stanhope entrance/ the main entrance of the museum) this tour will focus on Ships, Boats and Barges. This walking talk will feature some of our major objects including two famous warships, the story of the Sea Empress and it's part in a major maritime pollution incident in UK waters, the tragic story of the Rainbow warrior, Miss Britain III’s quest for speed and a Royal barge.
Thursday 23 October 2025- The Queen's House (meet at the admission desk in the undercroft) this tour will cover a brief history of the Queen's House itself and focus on some very important pieces in our collection.
