Three journals in one volume: journal of the ORANGE BAY, kept by John Dykes while he was onboard the ship under Commander Neil Somerrell on a round voyage from London to Philadelphia and Jamaica, 20 July 1768 to 24 May 1769; journal of the CAESAR, kept by John Dykes while he was onboard the ship under Commander Benjamin Raffles on a voyage to Jamaica, 15 December 1769 to 8 February 1770; journal of the VENTURE, kept by John Dykes who was serving as first mate onboard the brig under Master John Evans on a voyage shipping sugar and rum from Jamaica to London, 2 March 1770 to 15 May 1771.
