In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Understanding by the letter of July 13th from Admiral Russell that the Fleet under his command in Torbay is in need of Beer, Butter and Cheese, and considering the wind hanging out of the way so that the Ships loaded with Provisions for them cannot be expected to reach the Fleet, we direct you to send Orders to the Victualling Commissioners to take immediate care to supplying the Fleet with what can possibly be provided from Plymouth or any other Ports near them.
