An extract of a letter from Lord Berkeley from Fallness. ' I am told the scurvy is much in the Fleet and fresh Provisions will be a great refreshment to the Men, here are Butchers' offers to victuall the Fleet, but they ask 20 per cent more than formerly. If the Victualling Agents agree to the pricw I will give Orders for the immediate killing of Beasts, and desire to have your approbation or dislike of it that i may proceed on Slops.
