Uncatalogued: Research notes of Irving Noel Thornley Stoker, circa 1925-1935.
A large number of loose leaf binders, not arranged in any particular order. They mostly contain typescript copies of records from ADM, CO and WO series at the Public Records Office (now The National Archives) and other sources, relating to the American War of Independence 1775-1783. There are detailed research notes on warship movements, service records of officers and family history. One binder (marked 'CL') has notes on the Balcombe and Thornley families. Another is an album of postage stamps with railway subjects.
