In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
A warrant was given by Henry Killigrew Esq., Sir Ralph Delavall, and Sir Cloudesley Shovell, joint Admirals of His Majesty's fleet, dated 27 August 1693, for Mr William Harriot to be a volunteer on board the WINCHESTER. Another warrant was given by Admiral Edward Russell to Mr Harriot to be a volunteer on board the NORFOLK, dated 18 July 1694. You are directed to make the usual allowance to Mr Harriot for the time he served in that capacity.
