By Order of the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury I send you the enclosed abstract of a particular of certain sandy and [ouzy] Ground in and near Plymouth in the County of Devon, which by an inquisition are found to belong to their Majesties.
My Lords direct you to send to the Officers of the Navy at Plymouth to know whether this Land may not be useful to their Majesties, either for enlarging the Port making Docks, building Storehouses, or for the use of the Victuallers.
As soon as you have a return from the Officers you inform their Lordships.
