In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Navy Board's recommendation to establish the SUFFOLK Hag Boat as a Fifth Rate with a crew of eighty men with thirty guns is approved. She is to be fitted for a voyage to the Mediterranean and supplied with six months dry provisions together with as much wet as she can stow.
