In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Enclosure: Extract of a letter written in Paris. The extract, in English, expresses concern over persons believed to be Irishmen who plan to set fire to English Warships. It speculates as to whether an incident involving the drunken seizure of a laden ship which was taken into Boulogne might be connected. It is believed that those responsible may be planning similar raids in English ports.
