This title provides an overview of the history and development of the Danish shipping line Det Forenede Dampskibs-Selskab A/S from the date of its formation in 1866. The company's many acquisitions of smaller lines are highlighted, including that of Norfolkline resulting in the re-branding of ships to DFDS Seaways. A fleet list as at 2012 is provided, including the date of each vessel's transfer to DFDS, any previous names, and the routes operated.
