An autobiography by William Kitchingham, who served in the Royal Marines from 1941 through to 1979. The book includes accounts of Kitchingham's service in Winston Churchill's security detail in the US and Canada in 1943, then again at the Yalta Conference of 1945, his time in HMS Jamaica and HMS Duke of York, including at the surrender of Japan in Tokyo, then later as a Commando in Hong Kong, Malaya, Malta, and Yemen, as well as his career as a competitive marksman.
