Eastbourne sprat boat
The ca. 25ft lute-sterned, clinker-built Eastbourne lugger William and Dorothy, regd NN145, described on the negative envelope as a sprat boat, is shown from the port side, beached but with both dipping lug foresail and boomed standing lug mizzen hoisted. The view of the stern and wooden rudder appears to show no propeller.
