Concert change

Please be aware that this concert was originally listed as 'Harp Concert at the Queen’s House with Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance' performed by harpist Isabel-Marie Eberhardt.

Isabel-Marie Eberhardt is unable to perform on this occasion due to unforeseen circumstances. Trinity Laban are delighted that the London Chamber Soloists (flute, viola and harp trio) have stepped in at short notice, with a programme of French, British and South American music.

About the London Chamber Soloists

Anna Noakes, Gabriella Dall’Olio and Bob Smissen met while playing with major London orchestras and created the London Chamber Soloists, drawn by their shared passion for the flute, viola and harp repertoire.

Anna’s intensity and magnificent colours join Gabriella’s dynamic and virtuosic harp playing and Bob’s rapturous, singing sound; together they create a fantastic and inspirational trio energy. Their sonorous and expressive playing allows each player’s freedom and sense of phrasing to flourish and each of their three outstanding musical experience to meet beautifully.

The London Chamber Soloists have performed at many British and French venues and festivals including Les Heures Musicales D’Aujols; Fry Art Gallery, Saffron Walden; Edenbridge Music and Arts Trust and Temple Music Foundation concerts.

The London Chamber Soloists has inspired commissions and has premiered trios by Martin Yates, César Secundino, Tony Britten and John Ashton Thomas.

Evening performances at the Queen's House by Trinity Laban are kindly supported by The Rainbow Dickinson Trust.

The Rainbow Dickinson Trust was established in the late 1990s by Dr Bernarr Rainbow, the leading authority on music education, and Professor Peter Dickinson, the composer, pianist, author and academic. The aim of the Trust is to advance and promote education in music.

Under Peter Dickinson’s leadership, the Trust has sponsored publications and lectures, and made hundreds of grants to musical endeavours, particularly those for young performers and audiences. Today the Trust continues to support a wide range of music education work, in line with the interests and achievements of its founders.

Both founders of the Trust had strong connections with Trinity Laban (formerly Trinity College of Music) and took a close interest in its work.
