This close-up view on board a Hastings lugger, which may be the EVG, regd RX152, shown in P76261 and others is apparently taken from aft of the foremast. To the right of the mast is the chain end and hook of the dipping lug foresail's halyard/shroud. To a heavy spar fixed athwartships ahead of the mast are fastened at least two ropes, but the close-up view and the indistinct image afforded by the negative make identification of the possibly fishing tackle-related equipment speculative.
