Arrow
An arrow, which is part of a collection of ethnographical material made by Admiral Sir George Back (1796-1878). It has three radial feather flights tied to the shaft at the end of the feathers. Each end of the shaft is painted red. The iron head has spurs and is fitted into a slit in the foreshaft and secured by sinew lashing.
