Arrow
An arrow, which is part of a collection of ethnographical material made by Admiral Sir George Back (1796-1878). It has three radial feather flights now tied at one end only. The shaft under the feathers is painted red. It has a V-shaped nock. The triangular iron head is mounted in a slit in the shaft and has a wedge-shaped tang secured by lashing.
