Jug
Creamware jug, painted in blue below the lip with a bust portrait of an early 18th century man in long wig and cuirasse, inscribed below 'ADMIRAL KEPPEL'. The portrait is not Admiral Augustus Keppel (1725-1786) but an earlier unidentified subject. The jug has chinoiserie decoration overall and leaf moulding on the lip.
