Letter from George Monck, first Duke of Abermarle, to the principal officers and commanders of the Navy, sent from his residence at the Cockpit, London, dated 22 December 1665. He requests the victualling and fitting of the GOLDEN HIND and PRINCE WILLIAM for emergency use in supplying coals to the poor of Newcastle. The envelope and seal are included.
