The major part of the collection consists of volumes of letters, orders and signals relating to the campaign in Togoland and the Cameroons, 1914 to 1916. There are also maps and surveys of the Cameroons, some printed material in German and some chapters on the campaign, in proof, for the Official History of the War (Naval Operations). In addition there are loose memoranda and technical notes on gunnery, 1902 to 1904.
