In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

An Order to procure vessels to replace The MASTERLAND and YOUNG LADY defective Machine vessels now in the Downs, together with twelve fishing boats and longboats to replace those brought from Portsmouth also in the Downs, four ships of about one hundred tons to load wood and tar, two vessels of about sixty tons alternatively eight Shallops. The vessels and craft are to be sourced locally to the Downs or in the Thames and are to assemble in the Downs or in Margate. The Board is to advise where the two Machine vessels are to be disposed of.
