In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Extract of a letter from Captain Eyton Commander of the JOSEPH Fireship in which he informs that the ship has been rested on timber ways for the purposes of examination and that in the opinion of the Master Builder and other dockyard officers there is nothing that can be done until she comes into dock to have a false keel and other necessaries fitted.
