Equipment model; Anchor model

Scale: Unknown. A model of the first stage of anchor construction in a series of fifteen for a common pattern anchor. The model is made entirely from iron and consists of forty seven square section rods held together in a bunch by a circular iron ring. About a third the way down the model is where these individual rods have been shaped by a large hammer eventually forming a large single square rod which can also be worked further to produce a tapering and rounded rod. For the other models in this series see SLR2859 - 2872.
