Submarine cables in perspex box
Two pieces of submarine cable mounted in a perspex box. The smaller cable is cylindrical with brass mounts at each end. The core consists of seven wires. The outer sheathing consists of ten wires covered in hemp. The larger cable is cylindrical with cord wrapped round each end. The core consists of seven wires. The outer sheathing consists of ten wires individually wrapped in hemp.
