Seam rubber
Sailmaker's seam rubber, the handle carved with flutes and with a central carved ropework band. Inscribed in red on either side of wedge 'S.S' and 'R.B'. Belonged to donor's grandfather Robert Borwick, a captain on sailing ships and early steamers on the River Tyne.
