"Influenced by the Sea Things gallery in the National Maritime Museum, which holds a non-chronological and tactile display, I will be exploring all the wonderful things the Museum has in its collection which can be touched!

"I am drawn to thinking about the boundaries of Museum, particularly of the buildings themselves. The view from my studio is filled with commanding pillars. I wish to reimagine these pillars and fill them with visitors' stories, which will be developed through play within the Museum.

"Play is a time to push our boundaries, comfortably. Through play, we learn, grow and experiment. Play allows us to evolve as humans by encouraging us to follow new pathways. It encourages new connections, which can lead to innovative and surprising outcomes.

"We should entertain our playful tendencies further into adulthood, incorporating them seriously and unashamedly into our everyday."
