Join us for a historic evening at the Queen's House for the National Windrush Museum's inaugural Summer Season lecture, featuring keynote speaker Dame Donna Kinnair.

This Summer Season lecture aims to honour the enduring legacy of the Windrush Generation and their profound contributions to British society, through presentations and discussions from those who embody the Windrush journey.

The evening will feature an in-conversation and address from Professor Dame Donna Kinnair on her experiences in education and public health, as well as an audience Q&A. This will be followed by a short Memorial for those members of the Windrush Generation who have passed away, which will be an opportunity to commemorate the legacy they have left behind.

Professor Dame Donna Kinnair says:

"I am deeply honoured to be part of the inaugural National Windrush Museum Summer Season lecture. This event is a testament to the resilience and strength of the Windrush Generation, and I am privileged to share their stories and celebrate their achievements."
