Eight albumen prints relating to Noel’s appointment as Second in Command, Mediterranean, 1898-1900. Two prints show the Mediterranean Squadron anchored in Phalerum Bay, Greece, in 1898. Another shows the battleship HMS REVENGE (1892), surrounded by signatures of officers serving with Noel in 1899. Three are from the studio of R. Ellis, photographer, Malta.
