The Petition of James Weaver formerly an Apprentice Vintner in the City of London before joining the Navy as a Volunteer and serving in a succession of ships until October of 1698. He now finds that the Vintner is refusing to release him from his bond and requests a Certificate to prove that he had joined the Navy.
