In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Copy of letter from Mr John Whitrow of Dartmouth who has in his custody a cable and four anchors salvaged from Torbay. The men who recovered these items having never been paid for this service, Mr Whitrow asks that he be allowed to sell the cable and use the proceeds to pay them. The anchors would be retained for use by the Navy.
