In return of your letter of 23 July, we have had Richard Asson, Caulker, who lost two fingers by a fall in Cadiz, and was thereafter employed on axe work. to be viewed by our Surgeon, whose opinion is included witrh this judgement that were he a person who could receive money from the Chest at Chatham hw would derserve either £4 per annum pension with £4 present relief, or the sum of £12 in full.
