In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
I am commanded by His Majesty's Commissioners for promoting trade, and for inspecting and improving plantations in America and elsewhere, to order you to send them an account of the several species of naval stores imported from any foreign parts for the Navy. From what places each of those stores are imported and at what rates and upon what conditions of payment they have been bought, year by year since 1660. Signed by W. Popple, Secretary at the Commission for Trade.
