In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Enclosure: Extract of a letter from Captain John Constable Commander of the SHOREHAM in King[s] road in which he states that his ship and many other Merchant ships are stuck in King[s]road due to contrary winds and that provisions are running low. He has applied to the local Agent for resupplies but the Agent is unable to assist due to shortage of money. He is anxious to sail as soon as possible.
