Typed copy of the 'City Gazette' newspaper
Scan (made in 2023) of typed list of entries taken from the 'City Gazette' newspaper covering Saint John in New Brunswick and Halifax in Nova Scotia for the period 29 May 1813 to 5 Feb 1814. The entries mainly relate to the cruises undertaken by Lieutenant Charles Hare while serving in HM schooner BREAM during the War of 1812. One entry relates to his marriage on 11 August 1913 to Miss Mary Stewart MacGeorge. The original list was compiled by Charles Hare's son George Hare on 28 February 1882.
