"The Pacific Churchman": "The Church and the Sailor" news article page
A newspaper article page kept by John Williams Damer-Powell on his written account that was published by "The Pacific Churchman," of the challenging voyage due to threatening weather from South Shields, England to Montevideo, Uruguay, of the ship, DYNOMENE. John Williams Damer-Powell was 17 years old and an apprentice at the time. There is a written annotation stating that this text is "copied from the account written in the Port Costa record book."
