Orders for HMS NETLEY sent by Captain Robert Laurie, 1799
Official papers: Orders for the schooner HMS NETLEY (1798), sent to Bond by Captain Robert Laurie, given on HMS ANDROMACHE (1781) at sea, dated 20 July 1799 (1 sheet, 2 pages). Laurie orders the NETLEY to protect a convoy bound for Cork in Ireland, then to sail to Spithead so that any defects can be dealt with while the NETLEY is away from her station.
