Plans of Forts on the West Coast Of Africa.

"An account of the state and condition of James Island in the River Gambia, belonging to the Royal African Company, together with the castle, castle slaves, military stores, canoes and other vessels etc thereto belonging, according to a survey made by the order of Thomas Pye esq, commander of His Majesty's ship HUMBER, 19 Oct 1749". Consist of a plan of the fort, along with a survey of the contents found during the visit.
