Folder is marked to cover Cutty Sark Papers. Voyage 1882 to 1883 Captain Moore. New York to East. However, the folder also contains papers for both 1873 and 1883/4. There are also papers relevant to the 13th voyage 1882/3 Captained by F. Moore.
Includes Port of Samarang, October 1882; Port of Madras, November- December 1882; Port of Cocanada, January 1883.
Remaining papers for 1873 include voyage 4: 20/11/1872 to 3/11/1873 and the Captain was Francis W Moore. This is not the same Moore who was captain in the 1882–1885 voyages. Includes a Bulli Coal Mining Company receipt for cargo of coal, 31 March 1873; a freight list for Sidney to Shanghai; Cutty Sark’s 14th voyage in 1883: steam and tug towage; Hunter River Steam Saw and the Boat Line; Cutty Sark’s 15th voyage in 1884: Benjamin Oliver and Sons repairs to water closet 26 September 1884; purchase of spirits and ale on 26 September 1884.
