In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Are sending several Packets mentioned overleaf in pursuance of HM command from HM Principal Secretary of State, the Earl of Shrewsbury, which directs you to dispatch immediately to the two hired vessels to the Plantations with Orders to their respective Masters that one of them go directly to Bermuda and from there to Virginia and Maryland, and having delivered the packets to those Governors then to be discharged from HM service, and the other may go directly to to Barbados and from there to Nevis or St.Christopher, and from there to Jamaica and Carolina, and after having delivered HM packets to all those Governors,then to be likewise discharged from HM service.
Desire you give an account of what you shall do, and send our secretary a Receipt for the Packets.
