In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Navy yard officers are to be dispatched to meet the fleet at the Nore. They are to survey each vessel, assess damage and recommend what vessels must go into port for repair. They are to state the condition of each vessel and estimate the length of time required to render them fit for sea. The Dutch vessels are to receive the same treatment.
