In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain John Bumstead who was Court Martialled for losing his ship the JERSEY in the West Indies has been granted a Royal Pardon and is to be paid for his time in the St.PAUL as well as in the JERSEY provided the Navy Board has no other objections.
