In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Extract of a letter from Captain Douglas in which he relates that in unmooring his ships collided with the Sheerness Galley whereupon two of his men swan across to the Hulk and made off in one of her boats. He continues by informing that he has several times warned the Boatswain of the Hulk to make his boats secure but no action had been taken. Document unsigned.
