The Braunton boys who went to war / Frank Raymond Copper.

A frequent visitor to the St Brannock's Churchyard in the village of Braunton, Frank Raymond Copper noticed the number of headstones dedicated to men who had died in World War One. This book is the result of his research, paying tribute to the forty-six soldiers from Braunton who enlisted to fight. Each soldier has their own section, including family history, their role in the war, and presumed causes of death. Further detail includes local variants of songs sung to boost morale, photographs of the soliders, and maps of their Divisions' advancements along the Front.
