A photographic history of the Isle of Man-based Ramsey Steamship Company founded in 1913 by a group of businessmen, including the Kee family. Originally named the Manx Steam Carrying Co, the coasters carried bulk cargoes, primarily coal in the early days of the company's formation. Illustrated throughout with photographs of vessels and crew, each photograph is accompanied by a detailed caption providing information about the ships, their cargoes and history.
