The Grimsby fisher lads / Marc Jones.

This short book provides an account of orphaned and foundling boys, some as young as eight, who were recruited from workhouses to serve apprenticeships in the fishing fleets of Grimsby in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The individual histories of some such boys are included, largely compiled from newspapers and prison records of the time, including photographs.
