Antarctic days with Mawson : a personal account of the British, Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition of 1929-31

The author served as Assistant Zoologist on the ship Discovery as part of the British, Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE) led by Sir Douglas Mawson in 1929-1931. Based on his own diaries of the time, the author recounts details of the planning of the expedition, conditions on board, the voyages and the discoveries made. The book is illustrated with Frank Hurley's photographs.
