The Beken album

A tribute to the work of the famous Cowes-based marine photographers Frank and Keith Beken, this album contains a selection of duotone images primarily of yachts. Arranged by decade and covering the period 1880-1939, each decade is placed in the context of its yachting epoch, showing developments in design and the sailing world at that time. Supporting text provides a brief history of each yacht, ownership and racing success.
