In the centre is number 3705 and the vessel on the right in not identified. The photographer's ship was at Tsingtao on the two occasions 22 July to 13 August 1937 and 17 August to 5 September 1937. Number 1091 can be seen in negatives numbers P34327 to P34333 inclusive. A vertical format negative.

Only her hull, bow mast and fore mast are in the picture. The bow mast is stepped on the rubbing strake outside the hull. Her bow sail and foresail are stowed fore and aft and the tops of her masts are out of the picture. Negative number P34322 is the same vessel.

P34346; A port bow of the fully rigged model of the Pechili trader type junk number 1510 at the Roman Catholic Church at Liu Kung Tao, near Weihaiwei. the five masted model is carrying a bow sail, a foresail, a staysail, a mainsail, a main topsail, a port side studding sail and a quarter sail. A mizzen sail is hidden behind the mainsail. It is now part of the NMM collection with the reference AAE0160. Negatives numbers P34339 to P34346 are of this model.
