The vessel is of the two masted type, the transom and bulwark are gaily painted and the vessel is named See Hin, registered at Singapore with the port number 2934. A number of Tongkung type ketch rigged junks are in the background.

The photographer is on the port side of the deck amidships looking forward showing a wooden windlass to port of the mainmast and two wooden anchor handling windlasses on either side of the foremast. The vessel is a three masted type and her lug sails are stowed fore and aft. A number of local and deep-sea steam and motor ships are in the background.

The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.

The photographer is in the hold looking forward into the bow showing the fully framed hull but the internal and external hull planking is not complete. The photographer was at Singapore on four occasions during 1937 and 1938: 9 April to 1 May 1937, 13 January to 26 February 1938, 9 March to 23 March 1938 and 17 September to 30 September 1938.

The vessel is of the three masted type with an overhanging platform at the stern and a perforated rudder. The lug sails on the fore and mizzen masts are stowed fore and aft but only the battens of the mainsail are in evidence and not the sailcloth. An awning is rigged aft. Negative number P33996 is a similar view of the same vessel.

The vessel is of the two masted type and her lug sails are stowed fore and aft. The tops of her masts are out of the picture. A windlass is to port of the mainmast and another is on the forecastle. Negative number P33998 is a view of the after part of the same vessel.

She is ketch rigged and the upper part of the mainmast is out of the picture. The method of construction is clearly shown, including the iron strapping holding the top three strakes together. A steel anchor is fitted.
