König Wilhelm (1868)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the German Navy ironclad central battery König Wilhelm (1868) at anchor on the River Thames off Greenhithe, Kent. Her funnels are lowered and she has a 3 masted ship rig with single topsails and topgallants. West Thurrock Marshes, Essex, are in the background. Negatives numbers G2065 and G2098 were taken on the same occasion.
