Centaur (1899)
A half plate negative. A poor quality starboard broadside view of the general cargo spritsail rigged barge Centaur (1899) under sail in the River Thames during a Thames Barge Match. The location is likely to be in Lower Hope or Sea Reach. She is on the port tack and has a white jibsail which is boomed out to port. Her race number flag on her forestay and her owner's crescent logo on the topsail. The image is not sharp.
